Alistair Plugins: Gold/Drop Rate

Introduction

The editor by default only allows for “Double Gold” and “Double Item Drop Rates”. This feels limiting and frankly it is. With this plugin you can have exact rates for Gold and Item Drops. Additionally you can define your own Gold rate and drop rate formulas!

In the Plugin Manager, be sure to place it BELOW all of Yanfly’s Plugins or otherwise it may not work!

Usage

After installing the plugin, you may use notetags in the Noteboxes of Actors, Classes, Weapons, Armours and States:

<Gold Rate: +x%>
<Gold Rate: -x%>

Will alter Gold Rate by +/-x%.

<Item Rate: +x%>
<Item Rate: -x%>

Will alter Drop Rate by +/-x%.

Note: These alterations stack additively! This means that twice +75% will result in +150%.

<Gold Rate: x%>
<Item Rate: x%>

Note: These alterations stack multiplicatively! This means that twice 75% will result in 56%.

For further help please review the plugin’s help file!

  1. Hi Alistair,
    I have a small problem with this plugin. It is not a bug, but i find this uncomfortable when the amount of gold i receive after a battle is a Float, not Integer. I have an item with , and the default gold dropped from monster is 107, so i receive 123.05. The reason is i don’t want to see .05 at the end. Just 123. Could you please help me to do that?
